Can the age be relaxed over and above the age relaxations admissible under the rules and by whom?
Answer:
a) For CSS Competitive Examination - No
b) For Recruitment other than CSS. It is relax able maximum by 3 years by the President or the Prime Minister, on request on compassionate grounds.

What is the cut off date to determine qualification, experience, domicile and age?
Answer:
a) For CSS - 1st Jan of the examination year.
b) For recruitments other than for recruitment to CSS - closing date for receipt of applications.

What are the grounds for rejection of an application?
Answer:

Question No. 8
Whether a candidate is eligible for a post when his result is awaited for the relevant degree etc.?
Answer:
a) For CSS - If result is not announced on or before 1st Jan of the year, then the candidate is ineligible.
b) For recruitment other than CSS - If the result is not announced on or before the closing date for receipt of applications as announced then the candidate is ineligible.

Whether the application can be submitted when the notification of result has been issued by the Controller of Examinations but result intimation is not received?

No

What is the purpose of Psychological Assessment?
Answer:
The objective of Psychological Assessment is to estimate abilities and personality characteristics of the candidates with special regard to their aptitude for the civil services i.e. whether they possess the potential and qualities, that are required as a member of the civil services of Pakistan.

How long does the Psychological Assessment last?
Answer:
The complete process involves different exercises spread over two working days.

Question No. 14
What should be the dress at the time of Psychological Assessment?
Answer:
To conform to the formality of the occasion, the candidates should dress properly, appropriate to the weather, buttons done up, etc. and those who do not keep a beard must be freshly shaved. Informal dress such as T-shirts, Jeans/Denims, etc. is not desirable for the occasion.

What sort of Preparation is required For Psychological Assessment?
Answer:
No preparation is required for Psychological Tests. Just be yourself, respond to the questions freely. Express  true feelings, opinions, and judgements etc. as per reality on ground.
